How to Get Appointed

Thank you for your interest in a partnership with Explorer. We aim to appoint producers who are committed to going above and beyond for their customers.

Qualifying producers must meet the following criteria:

  1. Have been in business for at least 3 years.
  2. Have two direct auto appointments with a recognized auto carrier.
  3. Carry Errors & Omissions coverage with minimum limits of $500,000.

To begin the appointment process, complete our online Appointment Application. Once completed, you will be asked to email, mail or fax the following documents:

  • Loss Ratio/Production Information: enclose copies of production results (including loss ratio) for all listed companies for at least the last three years.
  • Property and Casualty License
  • Errors & Omissions Declaration Page

After we receive your application and documentation, one of our Marketing managers will visit your office. If your application is approved, we will formally notify you and provide training. Until that occurs, you are not authorized to bind or submit business.
