2. Agency Partner Feedback

At Explorer, our goal is to listen, understand and optimize our business relationships. As part of our effort to gather information, we are introducing a more formalized system of producer / CSR feedback, including:

  • Business opinion surveys.
  • Customer satisfaction feedback mechanisms.
  • Agency roundtables and other types of forums.
  • Web-based instant feedback tools.

Community Engagement Survey

We've seen that one of the best ways producers can grow is through active involvement in the communities they serve.

In September, we conducted a survey to learn more about how our agents and brokers are engaged in their local communities.

We found that over 60% are active or very active, and nearly 90% are interested in increasing their community involvement. Producers also told us that the most popular activities they participate in are charities, schools and business associations.

Social Media Survey

As organizations embrace the value of social media, more of our producer partners are tapping into these powerful tools. In March 2010, we conducted a survey to learn how they are using social media to drive results.

Our findings indicate that 50% currently use social media at some level, and 85% are actively looking for more ways to leverage its use to help them grow their business.
